I think one of the most exciting things is when you’re on the way to pick up your girl. When you know it’s been a few days since you’ve hanged out and that day is the day when you’re finally going out. Whether you guys are going out to eat, or just going for a drive, I think the anxiousness of wanting to be with that person is cute. Arriving and seeing how beautiful she looks, whether she got all dressed up or not. Getting out of the driver side and giving her the biggest hug before opening the passenger door for her. Her being comfortable and relaxed and enjoying the time spent outside. Her having the confidence of changing the radio stations or picking out the songs from the ipod, so we can have something nice to listen to. Having the windows down, singing out loud together.

Holding her precious hands while I drive, sneaking glances at each other during every stop sign. Having those butterflies flying all around your stomach, as if it were the first time you guys ever met. I think those little and simple things, over shadow the big things that people try to do. Just the way you interact with the one you love in something as simple as a car ride, can speak so much about your relationship. It is often the little things that one remembers, even long after a relationship is over. When you can take the time to really laugh with her, smile with her, and experience those moments of pure bliss, than you’ll know just how beautiful she is. It’s about being invested in her love, more than her body, being invested more in the way she smiles, than in the way she can kiss, being more invested for who she is, more than what we expect her to be. <3
