It seems as if it was only yesterday when you were...

It seems as if it was only yesterday when you were happily in love, smiling all the time right? and now you can’t bear to think of ever loving anyone again. We fail to realize that even the best intentions are insufficient to keep love alive. Even if we try hard, a relationship could one day simply die. The person you fall in love with can later on become a stranger. I know it hurts to watch the one you love go for someone else. There was a time when you both loved each other very much. You made plans for your future together. You laughed and talked and joked. You were intimately connected to each other. Neither one of you thought your love for each other would ever end. But slowly, but surely, tiny cracks begin to show in the relationship. You forget to kiss each other goodbye, the calls fall short, the hang outs become dull, the conversations become boring, you start snapping at each other a little more carelessly.

I know it hurts to sit there, waiting for it to end. But you know who’s going through the real suffering? The one who broke your heart, because they’re going to go through crappy relationship after crappy relationship just to realize one day that you were probably the one all that time. Whenever you’re in a relationship always keep in mind that there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Every now and then, you are bound to experience disappointment, despair, bouts of arguments and misunderstanding. It is always a good thing though that despite all the craziness involved in a relationship, you never let your self confidence leave. Remember that if things do not end up as you have expected, and your heart ends up becoming broken, it doesn’t mean you’re not eligible to be happy and or in love, it just means that it takes a few failed relationships to finally find the right person for you. Now is when your life beings, the end. <3
